Hello, everyone!
My name is Madison Jones and I am very excited to be the new Librarian at Samson Elementary School this year! I graduated from Troy University with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2022 and have been teaching ever since. I am currently finishing up my Master’s in Library and Information Science at the University of Alabama. I began as a first-grade teacher in Enterprise City Schools before coming to Samson and taking over the position as the fifth-grade ELA/Social Studies teacher for the past two years. I have loved my time teaching and growing as an educator these past three years and am ready to put forth everything I have learned from this amazing community as I welcome this new adventure! I hope to provide a welcoming space for students to be creative and foster a love of reading and learning.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family friends, reading, and traveling! :)
